What are your rates?
Our rates range from 50% to as little as 7% but our standard rates are 33% to 40%. We are not a “One Rate Fits All” agency. We realize that all debt is not alike so please call and speak with one of our credit consultants to discuss a tailored made rate to fit the debt.

Do you provide Status Reports?
Yes. Monthly, we can provide all clients with a status report reflecting; open, closed and legal debtor accounts.

What’s different from Ethan & Associates and the other agencies?

Yes. The American Collectors Association

  • maintaining a fidelity bond for companies servic ed

  • maintaining a separate trust account for monies belonging to creditors

  •  subscription to a code of ethics protecting creditors and debtors

  •  attending regular meetings on the latest in collections regulations

  •  helping creditors choose counsel

Are you bonded?
Yes. The State of Louisiana requires all collection agencies to carry a $10,000.00 surety bond.

Each state in the U.S. varies in statutes of limitation. If the debtor is still in business we will attempt collection efforts.

Name, address, phone number, amount owed, date of first invoice and a statement of account with description of service or product provided to them.

Can I view my account on-line?  
Yes. We will provide you the ability to view your; list of debtors, debtor payments, debtor payment promises, collection notes, etc. This feature allows you also, if you choose, to write the collector a message in their collection notes.

Are debtor payments sent to Ethan & Associates or us? 
We are satisfied where ever a debtor sends their payment. However, in an effort to maintain as much control of the debtor activity as possible, we communicate to the debtor that payments do come here.

When do you remit payments to your clients? 
Every Tuesday, that is 4 to 5 times per month, the industry standard is twice a month. There is another agency with quicker remittance.

In the event of a catastrophe, is your data secured for recovery? 
We backup every bit of data on a daily basis. This data is stored at a secured offsite location for your protection. In the event of a catastrophe we are able to continue operations within 24 hours.
